ITV promises that the third season of the hospital based drama will ‘go to darker places than ever before’.

The Good Karma Hospital has opened its doors once again as the third season of the Southern India based drama returns to ITV. Dr Lydia Fonseca (Amanda Redman) and her team are faced with a shocking case involving Jyoti Gill, (Sayani Gupta) a member of the nursing team who survives a violent attack. Both Lydia and Nurse Mari (Nimmi Harasgama) are particularly affected and struggle to provide the care she needs. Elsewhere, the ongoing love story between Dr Ruby Walker (Amrita Acharia) and Dr Gabriel Varma (James Krishna Floyd) will continue as the series will see the couple get closer than ever before. However, the arrival of a talented, glamorous older surgeon from Gabriel’s past threatens to derail their relationship. Also stars Neil Morrissey, Darshan Jariwala, Scarlett Alice Johnson, Sagar Radia, Pryanka Bose and Kenneth Cranham.
