SISTER LULU 

Grimly comic nun exploitation flick, Sister Lulu, tells the story of a novice nun who reflects on her tryst with psychopath Mother Superior, Sister Lulu. Duration 4 minutes.

Made as part of Channel 4 and Sgrin Cymru’s short film scheme, Screengems. Multi-award winning, Sister Lulu took Best Short Film at the Milan International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and three awards at the 2001 Cork International Film Festival, including International Jury Award, and Best Black and White Short. It also brought Philip his agent, Cathy King.

Written and directed by Philip John. Starring Jo McQuinn, Siwan Morris, Sian Hughes and Greg Cullen. Produced by Pauline Williams of Gaucho. Score by Krissy Jenkins.
